Once more with feeling

After Klaas Heufer had already skillfully presented the show in 2016, there was a repeat performance in Bochum the following year. “I am just the same guy, but better,” he announced in a 1LIVE interview. But this time there was a lot of change. Klaas revealed, “Of course I don’t want to do exactly the same show as last year, but it won’t be completely without music.” And so he was joined by Sido as a co-presenter, who presented a somewhat unfiltered view of the evening. In combination with fresh, self-deprecating gags about the music industry, live music contributions, new VTRs and divider-visuals, there was nothing standing in the way of this award ceremony either.
