Die Götz Alsmann Show

If Götz Alsmann was a show then it would be this.

A smart-casual evening atmosphere and a candid host in a slightly outdated penthouse set the scene for charming entertainment, hilarious party games and all sorts of live music in the “Götz Alsmann Show”, produced for WDR with musical support provided by the Götz Alsmann Band.

With a twinkle in his eye the entertainer celebrates the really important events of the year with his guests: 60 years of tinned ravioli, the invention of post-its in 1968, the birthdays of various James Bond actors and the soccer world cup.

The guests engage in intimate conversations and – according to Götz Alsmann – thus, “basically form the quintessence of entertainment television: conversations, laughter, marvel, songs.”
