Spaeti
Serie • FictionFred’s the kind of guy you call when you wanna party — but definitely not when you need help moving. Total slacker. So when Fred gets fired and suddenly can’t afford the new apartment he and his girlfriend Maya were so excited about, she’s had enough. Things were good for a while, but honestly? They’re just in totally different places now. For the first time, Fred starts realizing that life — which kinda just happened to him so far — is slowly slipping through his fingers. And then Hakan, the owner of his favorite Spaeti and Maya’s uncle, has to leave for Turkey for a while. Fred, in a moment of uncharacteristic responsibility, offers to run the place. Hakan’s not thrilled but doesn’t really have a choice. So suddenly, Fred’s supposed to be the local go-to guy for the skeptical regulars. And Aylin, Hakan’s teenage daughter, who’s never liked Fred, isn’t making it any easier. Fred has zero clue how to run a shop, but little by little, he grows into it. He starts to see how much this tiny corner store actually means to the neighborhood — it’s the heart of the block, a place where all sorts of weird and wonderful people show up. For the first time, Fred isn’t just dealing with his own mess but also the problems of others. Even Maya slowly starts to see a new side of him. And the grumpy trio of regulars — Marianne, Helmut, and Rashid —? They’re kinda starting to like him too. But just when things are finally looking up, the nasty landlady, Mrs. Gröner, shows up with some fancy gentrification plans — she wants to turn the store into something “cool.” Now Fred has to pull out all the stops to save the only place that ever felt like home… and maybe, just maybe, win Maya back.
